Well, the snorkel itself is done. Now I just have to mount my sealed airbox and pipe it to the motor.
I started with 3 pieces as you saw in my first post:
!!! UNKNOWN CONTENT TYPE !!!
These came from a cheapo Ebay kit, I believe for a Land Cruiser that I cut apart to get it close to the correct dimensions.
Then I lined it all up and began fiberglassing it together:
With everything glassed together, I sanded it out, layed another coat of glass and a light coat of filler to smooth things out and add extra reinforcement, then sanded it again before laying down the Texture Black finish:
Once that dried I got her mounted up:
Happy to have my snorkel back on and to have my actual spare mounted up:

Nice work. If there is a cooler Voyager out there I’ve yet to see it.
Though the turbo with a stick ones would be on the list as well, if any actually still exist.

They are out there. People who own the ones worth having don’t generally get rid of them though.

Nice work! Is it functional yet ? Or do you still need to do under the hood piping? It looks like the air filter is on the other side of the hood in the first pic.

Still have to get it piped in, so not functional yet, that’s this weekend’s project.
Got it figured out though, so I just gotta get some pipe and connectors to get it together.
Already have a factory box I did some “massaging” on all sealed up ready to go.
